How it works
Companies without an in-house CTO pay twice: once when they buy the wrong technology, once when they fix it. These mini-gigs put a senior technical eye on a single decision — a code audit, a stack choice, a due diligence — without hiring anyone.
The result is written and defensible: you can put it in front of a vendor, a partner or a board. If you need ongoing presence, fractional-CTO work is a separate engagement, documented in the portfolio.
A mini-gig covers exactly the scope printed on the card and nothing beyond it: no additional advice, no revision rounds, no signed or sworn document. Turnaround runs from receipt of complete documentation. If the outcome calls for real work, that is a separate engagement.
